I feel really at home at schlaeger. I like my job, my colleagues are pleasant to be around and we all work well together as a team. We act quickly when mistakes are made, and I always have someone to speak to directly so that we can find a solution.

 

Production

As a successful medium-sized company, schlaeger knows how valuable each and every employee is to the company. Our team has grown continuously and organically, and now has 385 members. Together they represent the entire process chain – from product and process development to production, logistics and commercial management.

We want our employees to be satisfied so that they stay with the company for many, many years. Our production employees work on machines with a high degree of automation. So it is particularly important in this industrial environment to ensure that they have a pleasant and healthy place to work. Noise protection in the production halls is just one example.

Flat hierarchies and efficient decision-making processes are what make schlaeger unique and enable us to quickly find the best solutions for both our customers and our company. Our processes and workflows are the result of careful planning and effective methods.

With an average age of 38.5 years old, we are a very young team. In fact, the average age of our skilled workers and technicians is just 35. It’s no wonder: schlaeger is very active as a training company. We believe that collaboration, trust and a close, personal relationship are the keys to successful employment. This team spirit is encouraged by our principles of collaboration and cooperation on the one hand, and strengthened by our team building events like the canoe trip for apprentices and our summer fest on the other.
